Reimagining the Brand and Store Environment

World Market was embarking on the first major rebrand in 16 years and the expansion of stores beyond their current 254 stores locations.

World Market needed to reflect its position as a unique housewares and furnishings store that had unique international food and beverage items. Its focus on being a place of discovery and inspiration was key. Radiant understood the buyer's journey through the store and recommended new colors and graphics to refresh the stores as they expand across the US.

Radiant worked closely with their merchandising and design teams as well as the senior management to understand new store positioning and to create a design strategy that could be carried out for new stores and applied to existing store locations.

As a result, Radiant developed their first new store design kit and guide that included internal branding and color recommendations, store furnishings and equipment guide as well as new concepts for brand and store positioning.
