New Housing that Connects with the Mascot of UC Berkeley
Radiant developed a new immersive concept for branding this 63-unit building. We developed a name that played off the loyalty of UC Berkeley students and grads. The Ursa name is taken from Ursa Major, the bear constellation, or Big Dipper. Radiant developed the brand identity and signage system and evolved interior graphics for the building that used NASA photos of galaxies and planets, bringing a colorful astronomical theme to every floor.
In addition, we used 360 photos to create walk-through viewings of apartments using Matterport and an online software tool. This, in addition to the full-color 3D floor plans, created a full experience of the building, the units, and the community.
This unique new housing development was well-positioned for successfully leasing the apartments rapidly.
