Creating a Holistic Pet Retail Brand That Connects with Owners
Pet Food Express is now the fifth largest pet products retailer in the United States with over 60 stores in Northern and Southern California. Radiant worked with Pet Food Express in creating and developing their brand and bringing it to life throughout the stores.
We focused on using the store environment to talk to customers and demonstrate Pet Food Express's leadership in promoting pet adoption, and their focus on holistic, high-quality products. We emphasized that they are a brand committed to the health and safety of pets, with healthy foods and a pet-friendly environment.
The retail environment is interactive and connects consumers to the experience of being there. With a pet wash, the ability to weigh your pet or to view the animals up for adoption from local pet shelters, it’s a place that brings customers back again and again, often with their dog.
We created their on-site brand voice throughout with store signage, graphics, and packaging. The store environment speaks to the customer at every level, every part of the store: the shelves, the signage, the entry and the checkout. At Pet Food Express, you feel welcome everywhere you go (and so does your pet). ).
