Steven Donaldson is the brand strategist and big picture guy. As the co-founder and a principal of RadiantBrands, he plans overall strategy and marketing for branding projects and campaigns, and provides input to the creative process. His work includes work for a wide range of clients including Ask.com, HP, Apple, and Wells Fargo, Dolby as well as place branding for real estate projects and urban centers.

He has been an ongoing advisor at the UC Berkeley SkyDeck incubator now one one the top programs for startups in the world for early stage startups. Steven has spoken about branding and multichannel marketing at various venues locally and nationally, including the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, e-commerce developers’ conferences in Miami, the International Downtown Association annual meeting in Minneapolis, and the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco.

He has been featured in stories about online branding in Direct Magazine and the San Francisco Business Times as well as on CNET Television. Steven continues to expand the firm’s client list and range of branding and integrated marketing assignments. Steven has a degree in Urban Studies and Economics from San Francisco State University.

Michael Zinke

PRINCIPAL AND BRAND ANALYST

Michael likes to look deep and see the details. He wants to know how that one piece fits with the rest. What’s the connection? He dives deep into the brand analysis to find those key differentiators. Zinke leads RadiantBrands’ branding analysis for clients, focusing on discovering and defining the unique aspects of a brand or product that can drive successful brand strategy and integrated marketing programs as well as website and online marketing campaigns.

He has extensive experience with brand development and developing marketing strategies and integrated campaigns with clients. Michael Zinke has a degree in Landscape Architecture from UC Berkeley and worked in city planning in the Bay Area prior to co-founding RadiantBrands. He was born in Oakland and is deeply interested in the changing regional roles played by the cities of the Bay Area, and how place branding and careful development initiatives can alter the playing field.

Magda Bryzek

PROGRAM MANAGER

Magda is a certified project manager and business operations professional with over 10 years of experience in managing projects and day-to-day operations of small and medium companies in Europe as well as in the United States. Originally from Poland, she began her career working with the global Caterpillar brand to grow its presence and market its products in the Polish market. After moving to the United States – she partnered with a Silicon Valley-based organization to build an acceleration program for international start-ups expanding their operations on the US market. Since 2015 she has managed and supported multiple businesses in structuring their business operations and organizing their processes.

She is passionate about helping businesses grow and supporting creative teams in delivering outstanding results. She is also an active volunteer of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the Project Management Institute, the world’s largest project manager community.

In her free time, you will find her exploring local playgrounds and parks with her three children, reading a good book, or playing tennis.

Gabe Schwartz has over a decade of experience in animation, editing and film production. He’s provided animation for Google, and spent the last five years as Creative Director for OSSI. He has created digital signage and branding for airports and convention centers around throughout the US and abroad. Gabe has been passionate about visual art, design, and film production since he was 10 years old and making skate videos with his family’s Hi-8 Camcorder. His tools, experience, and clientele have expanded greatly since those early days. Gayle Gillfillian

Gayle Gillfillan is a seasoned strategic market research consultant with extensive experience conducting primary, secondary, and customer-insights research. Much of the work she has undertaken has been in support of strategic branding projects, often for start-ups and companies involved in product innovation. She has experience in a diverse range of industries, including high-tech, agriculture, aviation, and transportation. Her project experience spans both public and private sectors and has included work in market development, feasibility studies, promotion, analysis, and marketing plans. Gillfillan completed an Executive education branding course at Northwestern University at Kellogg School of Management, read for her masters degree in management at the London Business School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree (with honors) from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
